Tamara Gardner

Tamara Gardner (she/her) is a dual certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) with specialized training in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) and over 18 years of experience in nursing. She provides compassionate, non-judgmental, and trauma-informed care that includes psychiatric medication management and brief supportive psychotherapy.
She is passionate about improving health equity and dedicated to supporting her clients to be informed and empowered to make the best possible decisions regarding their own mental health.
In her spare time, Tamara enjoys traveling, reading, making pottery, and spending time at home with her family and pets, including dogs, chickens, and one large tortoise!
Tamara is excited for the opportunity to join the Piñon Perinatal family.
