Megan Washington

Megan is a committed genetic counselor with a particular passion for prenatal counseling. Originally from Houston, Texas, she completed her undergraduate studies at Baylor University in Waco, Texas in 2019. Megan furthered her education by obtaining a Master’s in Genetic Counseling from Baylor College of Medicine in 2024.
Megan's interest in prenatal counseling was sparked during her graduate studies, where she witnessed the impact of early genetic counseling on expectant parents. She is committed to empowering families to make informed decisions about their pregnancies and the future health of their children.
Beyond her expertise in prenatal counseling, Megan also has a strong interest in rare disease research and advocacy. She actively volunteers with the annual Texas Prader-Willi Association "People with Smiles" camp, to support individuals and families affected by Prader-Willi Syndrome.
In her free time, Megan enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones, exploring new places, and experimenting with fun cooking recipes.
