Hien Tran
CNM, PMHNP-BC
Hien received her education in Nursing, Nurse-Midwifery, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at the University of New Mexico. She has been a Midwife since 2015. While working with pregnant people and witnessing lived experiences, she has seen the psychological outcomes of traumas, intergenerational mental health problems, and untreated mental health conditions. These experiences led her to pursue a specialty in psychiatric care. She believes in providing quality mental health services through equity that celebrates BIPoC, LGBTQ2IA+, and intersectional identities.
Hien enjoys community work, inspired and rooted in her family’s origin as immigrants. She leads with trauma-informed care and compassion in the health system.
