Alicia has enjoyed life as a resident of New Mexico for over 25 years. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree at UNM. She is a Certified Nurse Midwife who has practiced full scope midwifery since graduating in 2008 and is dedicated to providing conscientious care with a focus on partnership and empowerment.

She is dedicated to providing high quality and patient-focused care to women throughout pregnancy. She brings compassion, respect, and knowledge to the table and believes that mutual understanding is foundational when building new relationships. She has a special interest in caring for women with pre-existing diabetes and gestational diabetes.

Outside of work Alicia likes to spend time reading, traveling, and learning how to be self-sufficient. She enjoys her time at home with her three youngest children, gardening, and caring for their honeybees, chickens, rabbits, and dogs.
